BW cable glands are used with all types of steel wire armoured (SWA) and aluminium cables.
Their design enables strong clamping of the armour wire to ensure mechanical retention and electrical continuity.
Unlike CW glands, BW cable glands are designed for INDOOR use, where the electrical application does not require a weatherproof seal. BW cable glands are manufactured from high quality brass and are easy to install.
CW cable glands are suitable for indoor and outdoor use with all types of steel wire armoured (SWA) cables. They provide an effective, safe electrical connection with good cable retention.
The outer PVC sheath provides a seal, to help protect against outdoor environmental conditions.
Each kit comes with gland(s), steel locknut(s) and earth tag(s). Built to BS6121 standards.
