What carriage charges are applied and what service do you use?

“Any orders above £150.00 are carriage paid, any orders under £150.00 are subject to a £8.95 carriage charge. This does not include solar panels. The carriage charges will be higher for this delivery. Currently we send most parcels via DHL Express, and add tracking numbers to your online order, where you will be notified by email. Sometimes we do use Royal Mail to send out parcels if we have missed the deadline for a driver to come in that day".

Do you offer a same day delivery service?

"Yes, we do. We have customers that need products desperately in the event of on site breakdowns. We use a separate and trustworthy same day courier that picks up from Avon Controls and will deliver to anywhere in the UK. Obviously Avon Controls have to charge a delivery cost for this."

What is your returns policy?

"You can send back a product within 30 days of order. The delivery charge will be at the cost of the customer . We inspect, and sometimes test before raising any credits and will only issue a credit if the product has been returned to Avon Controls in a resaleable condition. You can return products after the 30 days, however the same process is applied and we reserve the right to charge a 25% restocking fee".

What is your minimum order value?

"We don't have one, you can order a single pack of ferrules if you like! Just be mindful that there is a £8.95 carriage charge on orders under £150.00."

Is your Insulation tape sticky?

"Believe it or not, we get asked this question a lot as some of our customers have brought tape that doesn't stick and unravels itself. The answer is yes. Our supplier tested 12 different manufacturers rolls of insulation tape and opted to stock the highest quality one. So you can be sure that it is sticky, and won't unravel itself. The high quality means that it won't crack in the cold either!"

Can you supply other parts that aren’t listed on the website?

”Yes. A good example is when one of our larger customers asked us if we could start supplying them earth blocks. We quoted and once they were happy with the P&D, we added them to the website and stocked the required parts. Send us an email with the product code you need. We will source it for you.”
