SY Cable – Steel Wire Braided Flexible Control Cable

SY Cable is a flexible, multicore control cable reinforced with a galvanized steel wire braid (GSWB), providing mechanical protection and a degree of electromagnetic shielding. It is commonly used in industrial automation and control systems where cables are subject to light mechanical stress but require flexibility and durability.

  • Voltage Rating: 300/500V or 450/750V (depending on design)
  • Conductor: Class 5 flexible plain copper (stranded)
  • Insulation: PVC (typically TI2 compound)
  • Braid: Galvanized Steel Wire Braid for mechanical protection
  • Sheath: Transparent PVC (typically TM2 compound)
  • Core Identification: Number-coded (black with white numbers) or color-coded
